As we continue to offer online lessons, we’d like to welcome to the Let There Be Rock roster of online teachers, Mr Nick Shinz of the bands Job For A Cowboy, Cephalic Carnage, and Havok! Nick is an amazing bass player, experienced touring musician, and has plenty of knowledge to share.

Charles Norris III is a professional drummer, musical director, and producer from Queens, NY. 
He has been playing drums since the age of 4 and has been playing professionally since the age of 12. He has toured with a variety of artists of many different genres of music. Artists such as Ashanti, Jojo, Donnie McClurkin, Fabolous, Kat Dahlia, Apophenia, Jay Karnell, Lucky Daye, Peter Cincotti, and many more. He is looking forward to sharing his knowledge about how to play so many different styles..

Kyle Shutt toured the world for over 15 years playing guitar with Texas legends, The Sword.  Having explored many styles and having played shows under every imaginable circumstance, the wealth of knowledge he is offering is truly unique. From beginners starting from scratch to intermediate players looking to up their game, to total pros looking to talk guitar and gear philosophy to get into a different headspace, he has a level of expertise for everyone.

Charal Sánchez

Carlos “Charal” Sánchez is a drummer born in Mexico City who began his musical trajectory with metal band RAXAS, featuring Arturo Huizar and Lino Nava.  He’s been the drummer for the band, Resorte, since 1996, with whom he’s had the opportunity to open for bands like Metallica, Slayer, Body Count, Motörhead, Limp Bizkit, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and many others. He’s also worked with other artists such as Stu Hamm, Víctimas Del Doctor Cerebro, La Lupita, Maldita Vecindad, Kenny y los Eléctricos, Fobia, and Cecilia Toussaint, among others.  He was a part of the Meinl 2011 festival along with other drummers such as Thomas Lang, Chris Coleman, Johnny Rabb, and Derek Roddy. He currently continues to play with his band, Resorte, and teaches at CMS (Contemporary Music School) in Mexico City.
